  • Fine condition US made toothing plane marked "P. BROOKS" and "E.D.P" Hartford Conn. 

    Wood is very tight grained beech. Sole is dead flat, hard and very smooth. Cracks shown are very tight and don't detract from the smoothness or usability.  (Blade sharpened and tested) 

    Blade is "W BUTCHER" warranted cast steel very little use and with no corrosion. Toothing grooves are very crisp and clean. 

    Beautifully dovetailed boxed section.

    Stamped by user "W. CAREY" and with the exhibition medal mark "EXHIBITION MEDAL LONDON, DUBLIN, PARIS, MELBOURNE"

     

     

    Sole size: 165mm (6 1/2") x 70mm (2 3/4")
